    • Do the designers’ works help to reduce poverty, promote fair trade, and fair and equitable conditions for garment workers? 
    • Do they allow for decent working conditions? 
    • Do they support payment of fair wages to workers?

    • What is the energy impact of the collection? 
    • Have materials or components been shipped long distances? (gas usage) 
    • Do the designs minimize water use? (eg. textiles that require less washing.) 
    • Are recycled/ reused clothes or materials used? 
    • Are the clothes made to last longer, thereby reducing waste? 
    • Do the designs take animal welfare into consideration? 
  • Health of Consumers 
    • Do the materials have health benefits for consumers?
